Our journey started in March when I got Xena at a farm, she was the third born in a litter of ten. She happen to be a little smaller then the other two males they had, but never the less I wanted her! I knew she was special some how, even the man I bought her from he told me "She's a special one, I almost kept her." I assumed he told that to everyone he sold his dogs too but later people I met would tell me "You're one lucky girl to have such a special dog like that." I didn't understand why people would be telling me this. So one night I was sitting outside with Xena, when everyone thought I was asleep and I watched the stars with her just knowing how lucky I was, just as a shooting star shot across the sky. Right then and there I wished that she would stay the same way forever small, puppy like, playful, and in some way I got what I wanted. Xena is the runt in the litter, she only weighs 15 pounds and is full of energy all the time! Things were good for a long time, Xena went to training and I loved her more then ever. Everyone loves Xena so much because no matter what mood you are in she will make you feel so much better. Xena is very silly, one time she almost got washed away in a river because she was trying to be like her roll motel Juno and another time she hit her head because she had her head out the window when we went over a cattle guard. None the less she has never been upset at everyone, she has a very forgiving heart which she loves to share with everyone and anyone. Me and Xena love to make people smile when we ride by in a bicycle (Xena in a backpack) its such a weird thing to see that it makes everyone turn and wave and smile. Its a great feeling when people ask to pet her and hug her because it just shows how much people love animals and want to interact with them. Me and Xena have been through a lot of crazy stuff and it just brings us so much closer and I'm thankful for that.
